Reese turns 9 months and Mia turns 4 within a week of each other....where does the time go??? I'll start with Reese. At 9 months, she continues to be the happy baby she has been from the start. She is ALWAYS smiling. It lights up my day. Some things that Reese is now doing....
~speed crawling
~continues to pull up on everything...her balance is getting really good!
~says "uh-oh" all of the time!
~will say "ma ma ma" and "da da da", but obviously doesn't know what she's talking about. Still love it!
~loves to try and feed herself
~dances
~Gives the heartiest laughs to Mia. No one can make her laugh as hard as Mia can.
Things that Reese doesn't really like right now....
~diaper changes
~sleeping
~having hair fixed - as you can see, this isn't an option - it's required....
~having her clothes put on
~having something taken away from her
Mia at 4....She's gone from looking like a toddler to looking like a little girl. Sometimes I just watch her while she is working a puzzle or coloring a picture....I'm amazed at how much she already knows, how comfortable she is with herself, and how beautiful she is. It's hard to believe that I had a hand in making this precious and spunky little girl. Most days, she brings out an array of emotions in me...pride, frustration, amusement, ect. I'm so proud of her for so many reasons, frustrated when she doesn't listen or wants to argue, and amused at her conversations and her sense of style. She definitely marches to the beat of a different drummer. If it were up to her, she would wear spider-man t-shirts and mismatched shorts everyday with her "bad guy" tennis shoes. She is gorgeous nonetheless, with her big blue eyes, long blong hair, and cute little physique!
She knows her Pledge of Allegiance, address, knows what cities her grandparents live in, know her birthday, colors in the lines, loves to do puzzles, color, and play board games.
I do this blog mainly for Mia and Reese. I hope one day they will have it to look back on and see how they became who they are.
So, Happy 4th Birthday Mia! We love you so much! You are a wonderful big sister and daughter! Hope you get everything you wanted!
