School Showcase

Today I took Mia to the School Showcase at Carver. This is where she will go to school in the fall. Let me just say, I have never seen someone more excited to go to big kid school! She didn't want to leave. She doens't quite understand that she can't go back until August. The only thing I think she is more excited about is riding the Thursday's Child bus back to Thursday's Child from Carver after the dismissal. I don't know what it is about that bus, but she can't wait to get herself on it! I'm so happy she is excited about school. With her late birthday, I think she is starting to get a little bored in 4K. This has definitely given her something to look forward to. Another bittersweet milestone, but I'm so happy that she is excited!

Reese turned 2 on the 29th of January. We had a small party at our house with family and close friends. Reese is in to so much these days! She LOVES Mia and whatever Mia is currently doing. She loves Nick Jr., her babies, and being held! :-) She is talking up a storm and has no volume control. If you don't answer her immediately, she will scream at the top of her lungs (veins bulging) until you do answer. At her check-up she was 36 3/4 inches and 28 lbs. That puts her at the top of the height chart and the middle of the weight chart. Looks like I've got another tall girl!
She gives the sweetest kisses and the best cuddles! Her and Mia make my heart melt! Who knew you could have this much love in your heart!?!
