Reese had her 18 month check-up last Monday. She is 23lbs and 33 in. Middle of the chart for weight and top of the chart for height - just like her sister! The girl is something else. I thought for sure this would be my low-key, low-maintenance child! Well, not so much...she is funny, sassy, and on-the-move! She says lots of words now. Her favorites are: "hey", "bye-bye", "Shoes", "OW" (when I'm brushing her hair), "Gigi" (our dog), "juice", "da-deeee", "good job" (when high-fiving), and of course "ma-ma". She babbles all of the time, but says all of these words consistently.
She will now point out her head, ears, eyes, mouth, hands, and head when asked where each one is. She loves to color, play with babies, loves to watch The Wiggles, and her favorite food is Pop-Tarts. I know that's odd, but she opens up the pantry and says "pot-tar".
Girls are great and life is busy!

Dolphin Cruise
We took the girls to the beach on vacation last week. It was a great week! Mostly, we went to the pool and beach, but we tried to work in a few fun things for the girls. One day we took them to Wild Water and Wheels, one day we went fishing, and one afternoon we took a Dolphin Adventure Cruise. This was so much fun. We went through the Hurricane Fleet out of Calabash. It was a 90 ft boat that went out in the ocean and followed one of it's shrimp boats. We saw so many dolphin that we were tired of seeing them. It was pretty cool though, because the shrimp boat through over some of it's catch and we got to see a lot of sea creatures up close.
Papa's 60th Birthday!
Papa's came down to the beach to celebrate his 60th birthday with us. Mia asked me earlier in the week "What kind of party is papa going to have?" I asked her what she meant and she said "you know, is he going to have a Spiderman, Transformer, or what?" Too cute! I told her i would take her to Walmart and she could pick out decorations for papa's party. She ended up going with the Spiderman because she wanted to save Transformers for her birthday. Ahhh, I love this girl!
