So, my baby girl is crawling...sniff, sniff.....
She started last Wednesday and boy is she fast. She is so proud of herself. I'm proud, but sad too. I can't believe she is 8 months already. I will post pics soon!

Vacation

I've been a little slack about posting the last few weeks - as my dad has already let me know! :-) We took vacation the week before Labor Day and headed to the beach. We had a great time, but I must tell one funny story about my Mia. We were sitting on Sunset Beach one morning digging in the sand and Mia said "Mommy, I've got to potty!" I told her to go sit in the very edge of the water and pee. There weren't many people out there and I could see her very well as she walked down to the water. I turned to Ryan and said, I will just die if she stands up to pee - she has been known to do this on the side of the road if we were on a road trip and no bathroom in sight. She doesn't quite get the sqatting thing, so she prefers to stand. Anyway, she goes down to the edge of the water, drops her bikini bottoms and squats over the water. Not squatting in the water - hovering over the water (it was only like 2 inches anyway). So, all we see is white hiney in the air and people walking by looking at her very strangely. So, me and Ryan were laughing so hard we had tears rolling down our faces....I was holding Reese, so Ryan had to run down to the edge of the water to try and cover her up. Mia has done many funny things in her 4 short years, but this took the cake! She acts so grown-up that sometimes I forget to spell things out for her - like peeing through your bathing suit!!!
